Activity 2: MIcrosoft SketchFlow

Intent:

Welcome to activity 2 of the Expression Blend and Silverlight OnRamp training program. This content is designed to give you a foundation in both the platform and tools you need to deliver the most compelling user experiences today on the web, desktop and mobile.

The OnRamp training has been designed to work with Expression Blend 4, part of Expression Studio 4 Ultimate. Many of the lessons have assets available that enable you to easily follow what is being presented on screen.

Task:

Part 1: Learn how to use Sketchflow to rapidly prototype, present and receive feedback on your idea

You’ve got great ideas! But how do you get those ideas in front of a client and explained in a meaningful way? An effective prototype enables you to effectively engage with your stakeholders and clients who can test, review and send feedback about your ideas early in the design process. SketchFlow lets you explore different directions for your project, uncover UI issues earlier in the design process and test different solutions without clients getting caught up in the details of the design. Prototyping will never be the same again!

To understand how SketchFlow can help your application design process. Learn how SketchFlow helps you test the UI flow of an application, build and test functionality of individual application screens and engage your stakeholders with prototypes that allow them to understand your ideas in an interactive and compelling way. See how a SketchFlow prototype can help you can discover and fix issues with your application before you move into production. Composed of a total of 13 video tutorials:
